LUMS is continuously striving to build a nourishing abode for research and form a culture that encourages faculty/students to present their ideas and engage in ground-breaking research in all the fields. Summer Research Programme (SRP) thus seeks to promote research activities during summer. The purpose of SRP is to encourage high school and undergraduate students to engage in research activities under the supervision of LUMS faculty and other mentors and witness scientific research taking place at LUMS. Additionally, through SRP, LUMS faculty guides and mentor students, allowing them to gain a rich understanding of the research that LUMS faculty is involved in, including theoretical, field and lab projects involving data design, collection, analysis and results; scientific innovation in the labs; and discoveries in the theoretical and thematic disciplines. Duration of SRP is 8 to 10 weeks.
